一、教学目标

(一)单元教学目标

 知识与技能

1.能够正确拼读有关房间的核心词汇,bedroom  dining-room  sitting-room  bathroom,并掌握其音、义、形。

2 .学会用现在进行时态问答,巩固已学动词词组,会用拓展词汇进行对话。

3.    通过文本学习,能够在恰当的语境中正确使用现在进行时表达活动。

4.    学习字母组合-oy-oi-的发音规则

 过程与方法

1. 能在课堂学习中,通过倾听、模仿、阅读、思考及小组合作等方式,完成学习任务。

 文化与情感

1.能将所学句型灵活运用于日常生活中,正确表达每个房间的用途。

2.用所学句型表达不同时间正在做不同的事情,正确表达自己的情感。

3.通过阅读了解家的重要性,生活中做爱家、爱家人的人,从而懂得热爱生活。

(二)本课时教学目标

1. 了解,字母和字母组合的发音规律。

2. 掌握,词汇的音,形,义,其中包含了单词的背记,书写和朗读,又有C类单词的表达和掌握。

3. 了解句型的结构,并朗读听懂和表达。

4. 能在语境中,借助调查等活动,了解,理解并运用句型Where are you?进行询问,应答和会话。

5. 能在语境中,通过倾听,模仿,表演等活动,听懂,读懂语篇,获取语篇中的相关信息,提高阅读能力,理解能力和交际能力。

【课例】

Pre-task preparations:

1. Review

1-1 Listen and read

1-2. Match and say___(sb.) is ____(doing sth.) in the _____.

T: Good morning, boys and girls. First, let’s look at Kitty’s new house. What are they doing?

S1: Kitty’s father is cooking in the kitchen.

S2: Kitty’s mother is washing hair in the bathroom.

S3: Kitty’s brother is making a model plane in the bedroom.

S4: Kitty is doing homework in the living room.

(教学策略:复习课时文本并检查现在进行时用法

While-task procedures:

1. Earth Hour introduction.

1-1 Watch a video.

T: Now look they turn off the lights. Why do they turn off the lights?

S1: Because it’s the Earth Hour.

T: Yes, so today we are going to learn sth about the Earth Hour.

       Read and repeat.

     Do you know when is the Earth Hour?

S2: It’s on the last Saturday in March. And it’s from 8:30~9:30.

T: What do people do during the Earth Hour? Let’s have a look.

S3: They turn off the lights

T: Read and repeat: turn off the lights

Ss: line by line and repeat.

T: Now it’s 8:30 Joyce is going to interview what people are doing during the Earth Hour. Let’s watch the video.

(教学策略:通过看录像了解Joyce采访三个主人公在地球一小时不同活动,整体感知主文本,并引出下文。

2. Joyce’s interview about Earth Hour

2-1 Introduce Kitty's home

T: Who does Joyce interview?

S1: She interviews Kitty, Alice, and Sally.

2-2 Listen and choose.

(教学策略:通过看,听,读Kitty家的Earth Hour活动并了解地球一小时活动的意义。

3.What do they usually do?

3-1 Introduce Earth Hour.

3-2. What does Kitty usually do?

T: What do they usually do?  Please take out your worksheet. Watch the video one

more time and fill in the blanks.              

S1: Kitty, what do you usually do?

S2: I usually read storybooks.

3-3. What does Sally usually do?

S1: Sally, what do you usually do?

S2: I usually do my homework.

3-3. What does Alice usually do?

S1: Alice, what do you usually do?

S2: I usually watch TV.

(教学策略:通过采访,得知Kitty, Alice 和Sally三个家庭平时在做什么,和之后的地球一小时活动做对比)

4.Earth hour time

4-1 It's time for Earth hour

4-2. What are Kitty's family doing now?

T: Good. But now it’s Earth Hour. What are they doing now? Let’s listen to the report, and fill in the blanks.

S1: Kitty, what are you doing?

S2: I am listening to a fairy tale.

T: What is a fairy tale? Let’s take a look. Pinocchio is a fairy tale.

  Read and repeat fairy tale.

Ss: read and repeat.

T: Snow White, the Ugly Duckling are both fairy tale, so what does fairy tale mean?

S1: It means 童话故事

T: Yes, some fairy tales are interesting. some fairy tales are happy. some fairy tales are beautiful. But some are sad. Please try to talk about one fairy tale you know.

S1: I know the Snow White is a fairy tale.

  It’s interesting. My mother can tell me the fairy tale. I like the fairy tale vary much.

T: Good. Please read and complete the sentences.

Ss: Let’s be Kitty together.

4-3. What are Alice's family doing now?

T: Kitty is listening to the fairy tale. What is Alice doing now? Let’s listen.

S1: Alice is looking at the stars.

T: Look at the picture. Who is looking at the stars with Alice?

S2: Her father and mother.

T: What is Alice’s father doing?

S3: He’s telling her a lot about stars

T: Read and repeat: tell sb about sth

Ss: tell sb about sth

T: Please give me some sentences.

S1: I can tell you a lot about flowers.

S2: I can tell you a lot about animals

T: Look, Alice’s family are very happy. Please read and complete the sentences. Do you remember what do Alice’s parents do?

S1: They usually do housework.

T: But now Alice’s father is ?

S1: Telling me a lot about stars.

TLet’s be Alice together.

4-4. What are Sally's family doing now?

T: How about SallyLet’s listen.

S1: She is chatting with her parents.

T: What are they talking about?

S2: They are talking about the stories about themselves.

T: Please try to be Sally and complete the sentences. Now let’s review the whole report.

(教学策略:通过采访,得知Kitty, Alice 和Sally三个家庭在地球一小时在做什么,让学生感知现在进行时,并学会运用现在进行时描述当下正在进行的活动 )

1.     Review

1-1. Review and read the whole interview

T: Please work in pairs and act out the interview

Ss: work in pairs

T: Now it’s your turn, please tell us what do you usually do and what are you doing now?

(教学策略:通过自己思考,借助板书演绎三个主人公。

T: During the Earth Hour, we can walk the dog, we can enjoy the stars. We can do many things. So please consume less, and enjoy more.
